Bay Marine Electrical CC (B.M.E) was founded by Mr J Moodley and his wife Mrs D Moodley and is famous for heavy duty ship to shore cranes (STS) manufacture and specialized spare part distribution in South Africa.

The company is focused on servicing the maritime and shipping industries.
It was started by the directors in their garage from a childhood dream of Mr Moodley. His interest and passion over the years for cranes and ships propelled him to owning his own company and so prophesies over his life was fulfilled. In 2006 EMANOLA TRADING T/A BAY MARINE ELECTRICAL CC was born from humble beginnings with just an invoice book and the zeal to render a quality service to the Maritime, Commercial, Industrial & Domestic industries. He has more than 25 years of experience in the electrical industry for Sourcing, Manufacturing & Distribution into these industries. Bay Marine Electrical has grown to be one of the largest distributors to the port container machinery sector in South Africa.
The experience we have gained in this industry has put us in contact with global supply companies.
Due to these overseas contacts we are able to source and supply these products not readily available in South Africa with very short lead times.
